PRE CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
Proper preparation for microchanneling is important to protect the integrity of your skin and to provide the best results possible.
One Month Before
No chemical peels, laser treatments, microneedling or other skin treatments 4 weeks prior to service. You may resume any skin treatments 4 weeks after your procedure.
Two Weeks Before Appointment
Botox/neurotoxins must be done at least 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment. Botox may be resumed 2 weeks after your appointment.
Avoid tanning your face 2 weeks prior to appointment (if you show up sunburned, or with skin peeling, you will be rescheduled, and will need to pay a new deposit fee).
Stop using any retinol/a and vitamin A creams/serums
If you have ever had a cold sore on your lips at any point in your lifetime you can get a prescription with your doctor for an antiviral medication and begin taking it 4 days before your appointment. This is not necessary. If you do not take the antivirals we will just not microchannel your lips. Microchanneling on the lips is great for plumping and smoothing out the fine lines.
48 Hours Before Appointment
Refrain from taking any blood thinners, such as: Ibuprofen, aspirin, turmeric, fish oil, vitamin E oil. Please take all prescribed medications as indicated.
Do not consume alcohol 48 hours prior to appointment.
It is important to be extra hydrated the days leading up to your appointment and the days following the treatment.
If an active/extreme acne breakout occurs before your appointment, please contact us immediately. (We can go over acne that is a few days old, but not over active acne)

Do not consume ANY sort of caffeinated beverages 12 hours before your appointment (you may have some as soon as your procedure is over).

If you are feeling ill the days leading to your appointment or the day of, please contact us to reschedule.
